BARGIEKAAI: BACKLIT 

In 2021 we collaborated with Christensen & Co in this competition for a Ghent University extension. It involved a wide program with educational facilities and student residence. The building was conceived as an irregular grid, a mix of warm and cold materials, with an opened corner to the riverside promenade. This dusk shot, showing the backlit building turned out to be an expressive and powerful way to showcase the building.

As per the grid structure we were inclined to frontal views, so we also tried this soft late sunset from the park preceding the building.
