LE COMPACT: TEXTURE 

We made out this strong visual for the project La Maillerie, a mixed use building designed by D’Houdnt + Bajart.
The program of the whole project was truly diverse, including residential, office, retail, urban market and restaurants and a parking as well. The different architectural languages applied to the residential volumes from the other ones, catch our attention. In addition to that the skin of the non-residential area, was extremely beautiful. So we came up with this one point perspective camera which tried to show both diverse worlds. The warm light heating the net façade of the closer volume and the shadow over the further residential lot, makes the view very expressive and strongly contrasted. The trees on the foreground where the last composition elements which made the view come alive.
