THE CLAY STUDIO: THE CRAFTMAN 

We produce this beautiful interior image for Digsau. This is one of the classrooms of The Clay Studio in Philadelphia.
The Clay Studio is a non-profit educational institution dedicated to the promotion and development of the ceramic arts and the work of clay artists. The client needed a view inside a classroom, showing students working on ceramics arts pieces and shelving with ceramics. However, while setting the scene we didn’t feel this view would work with lots of people and students here and there. We thought the image should communicate how great and inviting could be this working area. We had that huge window to the city and that crowed shelves, so we didn’t want to add more noise: that is why we chose this soft and nice diffuse light and the simple activity of just one crafter, peacefully enjoying his work.
