GJOVIK: WINTER IS COMING 

This image is the result of our nice collaboration with our dear friends at Koht for the a Housing and Cultural Center Competition in Huntonstranda, on the riverside of Gjøvik, Norway.
The key challenge of the competition was to connect the city with the waterfront, which is why this aerial view was the perfect shot, showing the river delta with the new urbanity and the Cultural Center. When we received this Norwegian Winter Mood drone shot, we knew the image will be a killer. We faced the fact that the original shot was taken earlier in the season so there was not so many snow covering everything and the river wasn’t frozen yet: so we need a little matte magic to recreate this moody misty view.
