MOUNTAIN RESIDENCE: TO THE TOP 

Sometimes you get the chance to work on an incredible environment so you enjoy the trip as much as possible. This happened to us on this occasion with this nice Single Family Residence designed by our great friends at Perkins & Will. The project is a nice and simple mass timber cabin built with healthy materials and prefabricated modular construction methods. The design is pure, honest and easily readable: no artifacts, no additional complexity. It is meant to be a pure standing figure in the wild environment. So we started the matte process in order to create and recreate this snowy mountain environment with the pine trees as a background curtain, and everything begin to match. We love the strong presence of the black metal façade and the warmer tones of the wood, aligned with the light color. We really enjoyed the collaboration.
