HOPPTORNEN PROJECT AT NORRKÖPING, SWEDEN: SIAMESE GEMS 

We produced this beautiful image for our friends at Utopia in 2020. The image intention was to show the Municipality the same angle shown in the conceptual phase, with the building yet properly developed.
The residential building is located by Motala Stream, and combines two volumes with a mirror ravine between them. The lower one hangs over the water and wharf while the higher lays on the ground creating a public passage between these Siamese Gems.
The building was conceived covered by corrugated metal sheets in different shades/colors. So the brightness and reflectivity of this kind of industrial artifact combined with the strong presence of the water, led us to this camera and light setting. We are in love with the beautiful proportion of the inclined volumes and the calm scene created by the kayaks and the adjacent park.
